Why patients use HairFUE

Know a fair price before you talk to a clinic

A fair price, in the same unit

One clinic quotes per graft, another sells a package, a third says "please inquire". We put per graft and package prices side by side, so you see what you would actually pay for your graft count.

Turkey, about 2,500 grafts $1,800 to $5,000
Poland, about 2,500 grafts $3,500 to $8,500
UK, about 2,500 grafts $6,500 to $18,000

Offers in writing, not on the phone

You never type a phone number. Clinics reply inside HairFUE with a written offer you can save, compare and come back to. No coordinator calling at dinner time.

You see who does the extraction

Every clinic and every offer states whether a doctor or a technician team removes and places your grafts. That one line often explains a big part of the price gap.

Your journey

From first estimate to new growth, step by step

Most people spend weeks reading forums before they talk to a clinic. Here is the order that saves time and money.

Estimate my grafts
  1. 01 Estimate

Mark your zones, get a graft range

Pick your Norwood or Ludwig stage, tap the thinning zones and choose how full you want the result. You get a graft range in seconds, without an email or a phone number.

    Norwood 4, medium

    2,800 to 3,600

  2. 02 Compare

See what that costs in each country

Your range turns into typical prices for Turkey, the UK, Poland, Spain and more, city by city. You know what a fair offer looks like before anyone tries to sell you one.

  3. 03 Request

Send one request to 3 to 5 clinics

Upload photos, answer six short questions and choose who may see them. Matching clinics reply with written offers in the same format.

  4. 04 Travel

    Talk on video, then book

Pick a consultation slot from the clinic's calendar and ask your questions face to face. When you are sure, the clinic confirms dates and any deposit with you directly.

  5. 05 Procedure day

Six to eight hours, local anaesthetic

Grafts are removed one by one from the back of the head, sorted under magnification and placed into tiny channels. You are awake, usually watching a film between steps.

  6. 06 Recovery

    Shedding, then new growth

Crusts fall off in about ten days. Transplanted hairs shed within weeks, which is normal. New growth starts around month three, and most of the result shows by month twelve.

A surgeon wearing loupes performs a hair transplant with an assistant

Doctor or technician

The question that explains most price gaps

An FUE transplant has steps that need a doctor and steps that a trained team can do. Where the clinic draws that line shapes the price, the number of patients per day and how much attention your case gets.

Doctor performed

  • The surgeon makes the extraction punches and opens the recipient channels
  • Usually one or two patients per surgeon per day
  • Common in the UK, the US, Spain and many Polish clinics
  • Higher price per graft

Technician led

  • A trained team extracts and places grafts, the doctor plans and supervises
  • Clinics can treat several patients a day
  • Common in high volume clinics, especially in Turkey
  • Lower price per graft

Ask every clinic the same three things

  1. Who designs my hairline?
  2. Who removes the grafts, and who makes the channels?
  3. How many patients does the surgeon treat on my surgery day?

For about 2,500 grafts, typical packages run roughly $1,800 to $5,000 in Turkey, $3,500 to $8,500 in Poland and $6,500 to $18,000 in the UK. The gap comes mostly from local wages, clinic rent and how many cases a clinic runs each month, not from a different technique. Turkish clinics often sell an all-inclusive package with hotel and transfers, while UK clinics usually price per graft and leave travel to you. Compare what is included and who performs each step, not only the headline number. Use the estimator above to see ranges for your own graft count.

At a medium density, our estimator gives Norwood 3 about 1,550 to 2,000 grafts, Norwood 4 about 2,800 to 3,600 and Norwood 5 about 3,550 to 4,600. A fuller result or a larger crown pushes the number up, a lighter result brings it down. The number also depends on your donor area, because only a limited number of grafts can be taken safely over a lifetime. Mark your own zones in the estimator to get your range. A surgeon confirms the real number after looking at your scalp.

It is a range, not a diagnosis. The zone estimate multiplies the size of each zone you mark by a typical target density, then adds a margin on both sides. The AI photo check, which every account can use once, can narrow the range from your photos. Neither replaces an examination. Hair calibre, curl, donor density and the stage of your hair loss change the plan, and only a surgeon who has seen your scalp can confirm the final graft count.

No. You never give us a phone number. When you request quotes, clinics answer inside HairFUE with a written offer, and you reply only if you want to. You pick which clinics see your request, and you can close it at any time. If a clinic tries to move you to phone calls or messaging apps against your wish, tell us at [email protected] and we act on it.

Your photos are encrypted when stored. Only the clinics you choose for a request can see them, and only for that request. You can delete photos and your whole account from your dashboard whenever you like. Photos from a closed request are deleted automatically 180 days after it closes. We do not use your photos for advertising and we never publish them.

Yes, it is free for patients, with no fee added to the price you pay a clinic. Clinics pay a flat monthly or yearly subscription to be listed and receive requests. They do not pay us a commission on your treatment, so we have no reason to push you towards a more expensive package or a particular clinic.

A clinic that claims its profile has to prove it controls the clinic, and it is labelled as verified only after that check. Profiles built from a clinic's own public information are marked "Not yet verified by the clinic". Reviews can only come from patients whose treatment the clinic confirmed through HairFUE, and they carry a "Verified treatment" label. Until real reviews exist for a clinic, we show none rather than borrowing ratings from elsewhere.

All three take grafts one by one from the donor area. They differ in how the recipient area is opened and how grafts are placed. Sapphire FUE uses sapphire blades to make the small channels. DHI uses implanter pens that open and place in one step, which some surgeons prefer for dense hairline work. For most patients, the surgeon's skill and who performs each step matter more than the name of the technique. Ask each clinic why it recommends its method for your case.

A typical Istanbul or Antalya package includes the procedure, hotel nights, airport and clinic transfers, blood tests, medication, a first wash and aftercare products. Many also add PRP sessions. Flights, extra nights, a second PRP round and follow-up visits are often extra. Some packages promise "unlimited grafts", which usually means as many as your donor area safely allows in one session. Check that the written offer states the graft count and who performs extraction and implantation.

Yes. Once a clinic sends you an offer, you can pick a free slot from its consultation calendar and talk to the clinic over video before you commit. Use the call to ask who will operate, how many grafts the surgeon suggests after seeing your photos, and what happens if you need a touch-up. Clinics confirm the booking and any deposit directly with you.

Each plan includes a number of new patient quote requests per billing period: 10 on Listed, 40 on Featured and 150 on Premium. Deleting a request does not give the slot back. At 80 percent of your quota you see a prompt to upgrade, and at 100 percent new matching requests go to other clinics until your next period. You can cancel from the billing portal at any time; the plan runs until the end of the period you paid for.
